SERPENSBY

SERPENSBY is a conceptual brand collaboration between Somersby and Kraken Rum, bringing together two contrasting identities to create a bold new take on cider.

Inspired by Somersby’s orchard imagery and Kraken’s mythological storytelling, the project reimagines the biblical forbidden fruit as the origin of a darker, more provocative cider. Its name combines serpens, the Latin word for serpent, with Somersby, bringing together temptation, mythology, and two distinct brand identities.

SERPENSBY brings the refreshing character of cider into a darker, more daring identity. Conceived as a black cider, the product combines Somersby’s approachable spirit with Kraken’s mysterious and unconventional personality, extending the concept of the forbidden fruit beyond the visual identity and into the drink itself.

Beyond the physical product, SERPENSBY extends its identity into digital experiences, translating its visual language and narrative into a consistent presence across its website and social media.
